About the author: Sir Arthur Ignatius Canon Doyle, born on May 22, 1859 and died on July 7, 1930, was a Scottish writer and physician. He owes his fame to the creation of the character of Sherlock Holmes, a very famous private detective. Arthur Conan Doyle was born in Edinburgh. His father, Charles Doyle, was the son of John Doyle and the brother of Richard Doyle. His father was engaged in painting like his father and brother. Of course, his lack of success in this field caused him to become heavily addicted to alcoholic beverages and finally he was transferred to a sanatorium due to seizures caused by epilepsy. He was a separate person from the family who did not make any effort to raise his children. Arthur was active in the religious group of the school until the age of nine. From 1876 to 1881, he studied medicine at the University of Edinburgh. For some time he worked as a ship's doctor on trips to West Africa and finally in 1885 he received his doctorate from the university. In addition to medicine, he wrote literary articles and articles for newspapers. Between 1890 and 1893, a series of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson books were published. In 1893, he was killed by Dr. Moriarty in the last mystery of Sherlock Holmes. But Conan Doyle revived his beloved character, Holmes, and left another lasting impression of the return of Sherlock Holmes. Nine years later, in 1902, he wrote his masterpiece, The Hound of Baskerville. Canon Doyle was a prolific writer and has many works. In addition to the Sherlock Holmes books, he wrote a significant number of historical novels, history books, including a detailed book about the Boers of South Africa, as well as a book about the summoning of spirits (in which he strongly believed in late in life). His Sherlock Holmes books, now more famous than himself, were initially met with disfavor. Many readers were not willing to buy such a book. To the extent that he had to turn to magazines that printed different and low-selling stories in one or more of their issues with cheap paper to print his book. But after that, his fame gradually increased, and after a short time, the same publication agreed to publish his story in a separate book, and this was the starting point of Arthur Conan Doyle's collections. He died on July 7, 1930 due to a heart attack.
