At the request of the Greek ruler of Egypt, Ptolemy II, 72 Hebrew scholars are translating the Old Testament into Greek. It’s a monumental task that they will complete in a staggering 72 days. Over the next six centuries, the Septuagint (which means 70 in Greek) will become the most widely used Bible in the Middle East. But wait. Some Jewish scholars believe it’s a fraud because it clearly points to Jesus Christ as the Messiah. Will they be able to change that? Let’s find out!
