During the first full weekend of September, the Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij organizes the largest steam train festival in the Netherlands, Terug naar Toen. During this festival weekend, all operational steam locomotives and some diesel locomotives will be running on the routes between Beekbergen - Apeldoorn, Beekbergen - Loenen and Loenen - Eerbeek - Dieren. Extra spectacular is the morning freight train that leaves Loenen just after sunrise. The 41 241 had the honor of pulling this train today.
