The British adventure fantasy comedy is an adaptation of Terry Pratchett's novel Going Postal (in the original title Going Postal), whose hero is the notorious fraudster and forger Vlahoš von Rosret (Richard Coyle). Everything works out for him and he has already made a huge amount of money with his inventive crimes. But it happens to everyone once. Vlahoš is arrested in Ankh-Morpork, and after his own execution, he wakes up not in Hell, but in the office of Lord Vetinari (Charles Dance). He offers him a new life and job, which Vlahoš cannot refuse if he wants to survive. However, he is given the almost impossible task of rebuilding the Post Office. Behind him is Mr. Pumpa (Marnix Van Den Broeke), a golem who watches over him, and he has retired postman Grešle (Andrew Sachs) and young Slavoj (Ian Bonar), whose passion is collecting pins, at his back. The biggest competitor of the Post Office is the semaphore Velká linea, which is led by the dangerously perverse Nadosah Pozlátko (David Suchet) - and a fierce battle ensues between the two institutions. Vlahoš also meets the not-so-fragile Miss Srdénková (Claire Foy), the leader of the society protecting the rights of golems, and this lady has unsettled accounts with Pozlátek... Jon Jones directs a very successful adaptation.
