The secrets of Kolomenskoye, legends about underground passages and the times of Tsar Ivan the Terrible have been stirring the imagination of Muscovites for many years. In this story, together with falconer Sergei Yartsev / @ekskyrsovod and the beautiful Nika Zubra / @yoll, I made a short video report for you, my dear viewers, in which I shared my vision of the issues of the presence of underground passages in Kolomenskoye. A major researcher of Moscow dungeons, Ignatius Yakovlevich Stelletsky, worked in Kolomenskoye, but his search was suspended by the Soviet government, which left many omissions and unsolved secrets of the oldest suburban residence of Moscow princes and tsars near Moscow. It so happened that my arrival in Kolomenskoye coincided today with the day of remembrance of St. Tryphon, who is the patron saint of falconry in Russia. Sergey is my friend, a falconer, Nika is also a falconer at Domodedovo Airport. I was pleased to spend this day in their warm company and remember the story of how Trifon helped the prince's falconer find a lost bird in the area of today's Trifonovskaya Street in Moscow. Tomorrow, February 15, at 11:45 a.m. at the Kazan Church in the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve, there will be a celebration of Trifon the Sokolnik with the participation of the current falconry ministers of the museum-reserve. Three years ago, an old Moscow custom was restored, when on Trifon's day, falconers brought falcons to the Kazan Church for a blessing. A rare spectacle can be seen once a year and only in the museum-reserve. Come tomorrow to Kolomenskoye at 11:45 a.m. to the Kazan Church, admission is free for everyone, after the blessing there will be flights near the Ascension Church.
