Research by the GGD in The Hague shows that a large group of psychiatric patients can be found among the homeless. This group has fallen between two stools and there are no facilities for them. Of the 150,000 schizophrenics in the Netherlands, two-thirds have to fend for themselves, while they cannot because of their illness. You can see how these homeless people are doing in this video.
