Dating sites: Under the influence of love, Jeanne, 64, lost "100,000 euros, her life savings". Jeanne, 64, retired and recently separated, was the victim of a romance scam by a certain "Harry Evans", an architect, met on the Disons Demain website, who extorted more than 100,000 euros from her in one year. The scammer used false tragic stories (death, assault, administrative problems, etc.) to ask Jeanne for money, who found herself "bewitched" in a psychological "tunnel". Despite the evidence of the scam, the victim has no legal recourse and her son deplores the lack of consideration of the organizations, as well as the responsibility of the dating sites in these cases.
