It is in the spirit of this precept that the collaboration between Cirelli Motor Company, a brand recently launched on the market, and Point-S, the French network of tire dealers in solid and constant expansion in Italy, was born. In essence, Point-S will take care of the assistance network for Cirelli Motor Company customers, strong not only in its own long-standing experience but also in the mechanical workshops that form its backbone. On this occasion, the Safe-Drive studio hosts the Cirelli 4 Cross, an SUV that bases its technical offering on the Mitsubishi 1.5cc turbo petrol engine, with a power of 117 hp, and on the seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. NEW OMODA 5 EV In a particularly confusing and variable historical phase in the history of the car, the rise of the large Chinese groups continues. Among these is Chery, which entrusts part of its European expansion to the Omoda brand. Among the most promising models is the new Omoda 5, a 440 cm long SUV built on a multi-energy platform, suitable for hosting both traditional engines and a 100% electric version, the 150 kw Omoda 5 EV, or 204 hp. PEUGEOT 3008 HYBRID After a substantial aesthetic renewal and the adoption of plug-in hybrid and 100% electric engines, the new Peugeot 3008 takes a further step forward by completing the range with a further hybrid solution. This is a system based on a 1.2 turbo three-cylinder petrol engine with 136 hp and a 28 hp electric motor, integrated into the six-speed automatic transmission. ROAD TEST: KIA PICANTO 1.0 GT LINE The South Korean brand still strongly believes in the concept of the city car and relaunches with the new version of the Kia Picanto. The length remains 360 cm, while the width increases to 160. The stylistic language has been heavily updated while the offer regarding the engines relies on two solutions, both 998c but with different power levels: 63 or 79 hp. Four set-ups are planned. SUZUKI SWIFT 4X4 ALL GRIP In its fourth generation, the Suzuki Swift retains the tried and tested four-wheel drive system, with the drive shaft and viscous coupling to bring the motion to the rear axle, only when needed, with a torque distribution of up to a 50:50 ratio between the front and rear wheels. The 1.2 mild hybrid petrol engine now adopts a three-cylinder layout with a maximum power of 83 hp. NEW HYUNDAI INSTER: THE URBAN SUV The Hyundai brand presented in Milan, at the “Casa degli Artisti”, the new Hyundai Inster, a fully electric city SUV, deliberately imbued in many aspects with Korean culture.
