There we equip ourselves with snowshoes, crampons and several other essential items to make our journey more enjoyable and safe. ❄️🌋 The ascent begins with a journey through a magical mixed forest 🌳, home to endemic species such as the majestic araucarias and nothofagus. Along the way, we enjoy two spectacular stops: the Salto del León and the Mirador del Volcán Sollipulli, which give us unforgettable views. 📸 Our guide explains how these ecosystems have been shaped by volcanic activity and how a lahar (a mixture of snow and lava) left its mark on the landscape, creating a unique trail. 🌋 🎥 The climb continues with incredible unobstructed views of the mountain landscape, where the volcanoes of the Araucanía Region decorate the horizon, leaving us breathless. Despite the challenges of trekking and the demands of filming, the effort is completely worth it when we reach the crater of the volcano. There, we encounter the glacier and a scene that seems taken from another world. ❄️🏔️ The last stretch to the summit is a challenge that rewards with panoramic views of the snowy crater, the volcanoes on the horizon and the forest left behind. 🌟 The Araucanía Region showed us one of its best postcards, and we had the privilege of sharing it with you, our dear audience. 🌍 💬 Ready to join us on this adventure?
