Jacek Bartosiak is a lawyer and journalist dealing with geopolitics. He founded the think tank Strategy & Future. He is the Director of the War Games and Simulation Program of the Pulaski Foundation. He is the co-founder of "Play of Battle", which prepares military simulations. He is a collaborator of the New Confederation and the New Generation Warfare Center in Washington. He is the author of several books that have become bestsellers - "Pacyfik i Eurazja. O wojny", "Rzeczpospolita między landem a morzem. O wojny i pokoju", "Najlepsze miejsce na ziemi" and "Zapiski w przeddeniu wojny". In 2016, he defended his doctoral thesis entitled "Geostrategiczna Siła USA i Chin na Zachodnim Pacific i Eurazji, a Amerykanské koncept wojenne powietrzno-namorskiej". In 2024, the Scientific Council of the Institute of Political Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences stripped him of his doctoral degree, finding that the work was largely plagiarism of English-language studies. Bartosiak does not agree with these allegations and has appealed the decision. A few years ago he said that "what we should be doing is building our own armed forces, autonomous, independent of NATO, the United States, with our command and with our system of awareness and operational capabilities. Because without this the state does not count."
