In 2001, after an encounter with God, his life was radically transformed and he abandoned his career to dedicate himself to his calling. He formed the band Rodox, which had an evangelistic focus, and recorded two CDs with it. From then on, he became more involved with worship without neglecting evangelism, and this has been the hallmark of his ministry ever since. In 2005, he released the CD “Santidade ao Senhor” (Holiness to the Lord), in 2007, the CD “Enquanto é Dia” (While It’s Day), and in 2010, the CD “Rodolfo Abrantes – Ao Vivo” (Rodolfo Abrantes – Live). Rodolfo is married to Alexandra Abrantes, they live in Balneário Camboriú-SC and are members of the MEVAM Ministry, under the auspices of Ap.
