In 2008, we welcomed psychoanalyst Contardo Calligaris to Roda Viva. A psychoanalyst, psychotherapist and essayist, he graduated in Switzerland and France and settled in Brazil. He was a visiting professor at the New School in New York and the University of California. A columnist for the Folha de S.Paulo newspaper, he has written hundreds of essays and chronicles and has published 11 books, including impressions of Brazil, our culture and the Brazilian way of being and thinking.
