The ancient Minoan city of Larissa was hosted on its territory for years, with which Greek and foreign researchers have dealt. This is the subject of this book, which thoroughly presents the great historicity of the area, which is confirmed, among other things, by its continuous habitation for at least 3,500 years. In addition to the historical part, reference is made to the geological adventure experienced by this area over millions of years, to speleological research, to the traditional professions of the past, to the manners and customs, but also to the current image of Kalamavka with its picturesque narrows, the many churches, traditional taverns, beautiful nature trails through an environment of incomparable beauty, characterized by diversity and continuous image switching. -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- ---------------------BRIEF BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE OF THE AUTHOR Michalis N.
