This is the newly updated Audi S8, and Mat is going to find out if it’s a worthy rival to the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes S-Class! First up, let’s take a look under the bonnet! The A8 range starts with a 3.0-litre V6, but this S8 has something even better to offer. It’s powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 571bhp and a whopping 800Nm of torque! Despite its hefty kerb weight, this luxury beast is said to accelerate from 0-60mph in just 3.8 seconds! But then again, would you expect anything less from a car that starts at £100k… And of course, when it comes to the interior, the cabin is in perfect order with quality materials. Yes, there aren’t many changes compared to the previous version, but that’s not a bad thing!
