Matt got his hands on this new family crossover to see how it could attract buyers in the rather crowded SUV segment. First, about the design. It has changed noticeably compared to the previous model: from the changed rear optics to chrome elements and larger headlights. Also, there are optional body panels in a different color from the base color and tinted rear windows for models with a richer configuration! The interior again shows improvements compared to its predecessor: the front panel has a beautiful curved shape, complemented by a large system screen; there are enough buttons on the center console. The interior is finished with high-quality materials that are pleasant to the touch. The new Niro is available in a hybrid or electric version. The regular hybrid is equipped with a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with an auxiliary electric motor with a total output of 139 hp. The Niro is also available with a plug-in hybrid with a more powerful engine and capacious batteries. This version can travel up to 65 km on electric traction, and its total output is 180 hp. And finally, the electric version. It is equipped with an electric motor with a capacity of 201 hp.
