This video will talk about the FAW dump truck. This is not my first review of Chinese trucks, but I was able to record an interview with the end user operating the FAW J6 for the first time. The Chinese truck has a significant advantage over its European competitors, the new FAW dump trucks are significantly cheaper than the European ones. The guys gave me an example: a transfer case for a Chinese truck costs 90 thousand rubles, and for a European one it costs almost 1 million rubles. I honestly admit that I did not check the information, but I have no reason not to trust the owner of several Chinese dump trucks. The guys talked about a large number of shortcomings that Chinese FAW dump trucks have. I think this is one of the most objective and honest reviews of this truck, of those that can be viewed on YouTube. But with all this, according to the owner of a small fleet, there is no alternative. He does not want a KAMAZ or MAZ, he says that they break down even more often, and spare parts are sometimes more expensive. The Faw dump truck is operated with an overload, as the owner says, if you carry 20 tons, the truck will pay off longer. Therefore, the new FAW 6x4 dump truck is deliberately overloaded from the very beginning of commissioning. Yes, this leads to premature wear of units and assemblies, yes, the truck has to be repaired, but as a whole, the car brings profit and pays for itself even despite breakdowns. And this is one of the problems, the Chinese car is initially operated in more severe conditions and not always with competent service. The European car is pampered and cherished, serviced at the branded service, while the Chinese, as a rule, are squeezed out to the fullest. The review of the FAW dump truck turned out to be very interesting in my opinion. On the one hand, the end consumer, on the other, a representative of the Chinese truck manufacturer. It seemed to me that the communication between them was open and honest. I really liked this format. Which dump truck is better, this is my appeal to the audience. Which dump truck to buy, an expensive European one or a Chinese FAW half the price. The first one will be more expensive initially, but will be down less for repairs, although it will require more expensive consumables and spare parts. As the owner of the vehicle fleet says, many people buy Chinese ones also because of the lack of competent drivers. It is equally easy to break a transfer case or puncture a tire on a KAMAZ, and on a Chinese, and on a European, but the costs will be incomparably different. The review of the Faw dump truck reveals the main problem of Chinese trucks, which is the lack of spare parts in the required quantities. Whose fault is this, I tried to figure out and as I understood, there are several factors. Spare parts for the Faw dump truck are ordered by dealers in insufficient quantities, no one wants to keep a warehouse at their own expense. In the event of a breakdown, it is understandable that time is needed to bring the necessary components from China. And here it seems to me that the Chinese automaker needs to form a spare parts warehouse in Russia at its own expense and on the basis of the available statistics on breakdowns. It is also possible that time will pass, and our dealers will learn to form warehouses with a reserve. I think that with a competent policy on service and provision of spare parts ahead of schedule, new Chinese dump trucks will soon conquer the automobile market of our country. How will we respond, how will our government protect its dump truck manufacturers and other manufacturers of trucks? This is a question to which we will find out the answer in the near future.
