Criminals broke into a shopping mall and stole more than R$500,000 in Santa Efigênia, an important electronics retail location in São Paulo. One of the criminals managed to hide in a disused store and when the mall closed, he overpowered the security guard and forced him to open the door for his accomplices. At least 10 stores had their products stolen. In four years, the shopping center has been robbed three times. According to a store owner, the criminals' precise actions may indicate that they received privileged information.
