Things to note with a FritzBox Cable: (not relevant for DSL, fiber optic or mobile communications) Vodafone hotline number [opening hours 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.] +4922146619100 Have your Vodafone customer number ready [can be found in the Vodafone app or on your monthly bill] If you hear a computer voice, keyword: contract Give the Vodafone employee the following two numbers (can be found on the underside of the FritzBox: 1. CM MAC 2. Serial number After activation above, call again with the keyword contract and have the CM MAC of the old FritzBox deleted from the Vodafone system. Otherwise the old FritzBox Cable can no longer be used on any connection. The deletion can only be done by the contract holder - important if, for example, you want to resell the device second-hand.
