In this video we take a look at some very special air traffic in Frankfurt. Frankfurt Airport is my home airport and so I was able to react well in many situations when something special was announced. In 2023, for example, a 707 from the Israeli Air Force visited the airport for a refueling stop. The 707 has not been a regular guest in Frankfurt for decades, so this visit was something special. Other very interesting guests were a C-17 from the Indian Air Force, a C-27 from the Romanian Air Force and also an AN-12. But regular guests from the past are also something to look back on these days. The Lufthansa Cargo MD-11F was a normal part of Frankfurt for many years, but today this aircraft is no longer in use. In recent years, a classic 747-200 from GEO-SKY also came to Frankfurt temporarily, which can be seen in this video in the evening. So there is a lot to see today in this planespotting video and on top of that there is some standard air traffic.
