Well, Matt seems to have found a compromise... He got his hands on 3 used luxury SUVs, each priced under £2,000! Namely, a 3rd generation Range Rover, a 1st generation Porsche Cayenne and a 1st generation BMW X5. Let's start with the Range Rover. It's a 2005 model with a 3.0-litre diesel engine producing 175bhp. The interior is richly trimmed with wood and leather, but the tailgate is broken. But it's only £2,000. Not bad, considering that new models cost £62,830 back in the day! Want something sportier? Then you need to take a closer look at the Porsche Cayenne S. In 2003, this car would have cost around £45,000, but we managed to snag one for just £1,950. Under the bonnet is a brilliant 4.5-litre V8 with 335bhp, making it a joy to tear around twisty roads. And last on the list is the BMW X5. This is the Sport model with a 4.4-litre V8, which cost £45,700 in its day. But today it’s only £1,800. It has 286bhp and a satisfying V8 growl. So which of these (heavily discounted) luxury crossovers should you get? Watch Mat’s video to find out.
