In this issue of the series of "One Narrative" program, we have an interview with Shirin Ebadi, a lawyer, civil activist, writer and the first Iranian winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, who lives in London. Before the revolution, in 1354, at the age of 29, Mrs. Ebadi became the head of the court (branch 24 of the city court) as the first woman in the history of Iran's judiciary, but she was dismissed after the revolution. Shirin Ebadi says that the effect of the 1357 revolution on her work was that they said that a woman cannot sit in the post of judge in Islam, and they forced all women judges to do administrative work and appointed her to the position of secretary of the same court that she presided over until recently. He says that in the first few months, he realized that this was not the justice system he used to judge. This well-known civil activist says about joining the group known as "Manshoor Mahsa" or "Solidarity for Democracy and Freedom in Iran" that he joined a political movement for the first and last time because he believes that if opponents and critics work together and unite, this government will be overthrown very easily." ----------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------ Radio Farda; Contact time: Website: www.radiofarda.com Instagram: www.instagram.com/radiofarda Facebook: www.facebook.com/radio.farda Twitter: www.twitter.com/radiofarda_ Telegram Id: @fardagram Soundcloud: www.soundcloud .com/radio-farda TikTok: www.tiktok.com/@radio.farda
