We solve several examples by applying the Pythagorean Theorem to find the missing data for each of the flat figures. GEOMETRY SERIES ???? • GEOMETRY ???? Area, Perimeter and Volume The Pythagorean Theorem tells us that the hypotenuse squared is equal to the sum of the legs squared. To understand this, it is necessary to know what the hypotenuse and the legs are. In a right triangle, the hypotenuse is the longest side, the one opposite the right angle (90º). The legs are the other two sides that make up the 90º angle. A distinction is usually made between the longer and shorter legs according to their measurement. We use this Theorem to find the unknown side of a right triangle. It is also good to know that there are flat figures in which we find right triangles. This allows us to relate some of their elements using the Pythagorean Theorem. ➕ OTHER VIDEOS that will help you: ???? Pythagoras' Theorem: • PYTHAGORAS' THEOREM ???? Formula, Demos... ????
