Initially, Irina Viktorovna and her husband did not intend to become gardeners. However, the location of the dacha plot they inherited, among the northern Leningrad forests and close to excellent fishing in the lakes of the Vyborg district, determined their choice. Rimma Kondratenya never lost heart, even when she became the owner of a dacha plot that was poorly suited for gardening.
