This is not the first time I'm going to tell you that there is something very strange happening in the Public Administration. If you've read any of my articles, you know what I'm talking about. It seems like things are only getting worse, day after day. And I'll explain why this title. Yesterday, a request came to the office that made me think a lot about the injustices that many public servants have been suffering at the hands of the Public Administration. Much of this is caused by a distant period (20-30 years ago), when it could still be said that some public servants lived only in the shade and cool water, enjoying their high salaries and little work. Nowadays, this is far from being a reality. Most public servants have had their salaries out of date for years, without adjustments even for inflation rates. Many are in debt with loans taken out up to the brim. The other day, a civil servant came to us with a paycheck for R$4,000 net. This may seem like a good amount, especially when compared to a job in the private sector. The problem is that he holds a high-ranking position in his state, and his gross salary is over R$14,000. He got into debt due to health issues, accumulating payroll loans, in addition to two alimony payments, which are deducted directly from his paycheck. If that weren't enough, he was responding to a PAD due to productivity issues at his job. Investigating the case, we realized that the issue had nothing to do with low productivity. Until recently, his job was performed by four civil servants, but they all retired. Since there were no new hires, he was left to take on the work of others all by himself! Look at the absurdity: his boss considered his productivity to be low, to the point of threatening to fire him. To make matters worse, all this pressure, together with the financial problems, triggered a serious case of depression in the civil servant. Then, another absurdity: he was denied leave due to health reasons, under the allegation that he was “slacking off”. An important fact to understand the extent of the disregard for the civil servant: he showed up for the medical examination with no less than 5 medical reports, which he had obtained over almost 2 years of medical monitoring. The civil servant told me that, during the examination, he heard jokes that he was “tired” and wanted to take medical leave to travel to the beach. Sad, isn’t it? Such a serious occupational disease, almost an “epidemic” in the public service, treated with such disregard! This is just one of the examples we have of arbitrary treatment suffered by civil servants, when they need to undergo a medical examination to be entitled to leave due to health reasons. In the video that accompanies this article (I strongly recommend that you watch this video), I tell you about 3 more absurd situations that have occurred with our clients. The important lesson I teach in the video is: record your medical examinations. If you are suffering any type of persecution or harassment, be sure to provide evidence in your favor. Recordings, witnesses, emails (I explain in detail in the video how to use emails as favorable evidence in your lawsuit). All of this can help you! Unfortunately, the current situation in Public Administration is not good, and you must take all possible care to avoid suffering from the injustices that we are seeing every day here at the office. Best regards, and until next time. Check out the full content at https://sergiomerola.adv.br/grave-sua...
