Traditionally, the community of the Faculty of History of Vilnius University ends the year by gathering for an exclusive event – the annual lecture. During the event, dedicated to the community and all friends of the faculty, the most relevant historical research and discoveries, the latest books or implemented projects born in the faculty environment are presented. This year, the annual lecture will be delivered by Prof. Arūnas Streikus. The topic of the lecture is “And Lies and Injustices Do Not Always Have to Triumph”: The Holy See and Lithuania Destroyed by Foreigners in 1940-1948. The lecture will take place at the Faculty of History of Vilnius University on December 18, at 5:30 p.m. in auditorium 211. Photo: Card.
