Today I will show you vocal mixing with FabFilter Pro-DS, a beginner's tutorial in FL Studio and Reaper or any other DAW. I will introduce you to the FabFilter Pro-DS tool and tell you how it can help you remove sibilance and make your vocals sound cleaner and more professional. Threshold and Range Settings: You will learn how to properly set the threshold and range for vocal mixing. Side Chain and Lookahead: I will explain how to use the Side Chain and Lookahead features. Stereo Link and Input/Output Gain: We will discuss the Stereo Link settings and adjust the input and output audio levels. Undo, Redo, Copy and A/B Comparison: I will show you how to use the undo, redo and copy features, as well as how to compare settings. We will also look at presets that will help you quickly set up FabFilter Pro-DS for different situations. With this beginner's tutorial, you will be able to deal with sibilance and improve the sound of the vocals in your tracks.
