President Prabowo Subianto Welcomed at State Ceremony at Qasr Al Watn President Prabowo Subianto was welcomed at a state ceremony at Qasr Al Watn, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), on Saturday, November 23, 2024. Upon arriving at the gate of Qasr Al Watn, President Prabowo's convoy passed by cavalry and camels, traditional musicians, accompanied by the sound of 21 cannons. Upon arriving at the entrance to Qasr Al Watn, President Prabowo was immediately greeted by the President of the UAE, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MBZ). The two shook hands and then walked past a number of children who also welcomed the two heads of state. After that, the national anthems of the two countries were played. The two leaders were seen standing between the flags of Indonesia and the UAE. In front of them were also lined up troops of the UAE armed forces from three dimensions. President Prabowo and President MBZ then received a report from the ceremony commander to then conduct a troop inspection. The two leaders then introduced the delegations from each country. After the introduction, the two leaders then held a bilateral meeting with their respective delegations. In this meeting, President Prabowo and President MBZ also witnessed the exchange of memorandums of understanding (MoU) in several fields, namely industry and advanced technology, energy, health, culture, tourism, mining and infrastructure, as well as government development and renewal. The state welcoming ceremony was closed with a luncheon by President MBZ. Also accompanying President Prabowo on this visit were Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Tourism Widiyanti Putri, Minister of Investment and Downstream Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, Deputy Minister of Housing and Residential Areas Fahri Hamzah, Indonesian Ambassador to the UAE Husin Bagis, and Pertamina President Director Simon Aloysius Mantiri.
