My name is Léa and I am a researcher of practical ideas, explorer of clever tips, finder of solutions, in short what I like is to simplify my life and share it. Today, I show you my tips for preparing a suitcase, for you gentlemen. These are these small suitcases that you do not need to put in the hold when you take the plane, ideal for stays of a few days. In this tip, I show you how to fit 1 pair of jeans, 1 pair of suit pants, 1 suit jacket, 2 shirts, 3 t-shirts, 3 pairs of underwear, 3 pairs of socks, 1 pair of shoes, 1 sweatshirt, 1 laptop, and of course, toiletries. To start, we will protect our laptop in the sweatshirt. To do this, place the sweatshirt face down on a flat surface and place the computer in the center, under the hood. Fold the bottom of your sweatshirt over the computer, wrap it up well, then enclose it in the hood. Then fold the sleeves over everything and your computer is protected for the trip. Start by folding the pants at the bottom of the cabin baggage. To avoid creases, line the bottom of the suitcase with the legs of a first pair of pants (the top is currently sticking out of the suitcase), in the other direction, place the legs of the second pair of pants on those of the first, place your computer, and fold the top of each pair of pants on top of each other. Then place your shirts. You can put a belt in your shirts so that the collar remains intact. The next step concerns the 3 t-shirts with the 3 pairs of socks and the 3 pairs of underpants. I will show you a tip for folding all of this without making a crease, based on a technique for preparing a baise-en-ville. Go to the bottom of the page to watch my video, in which I show you in detail how to prepare this baise-en-ville. Fold a t-shirt in half widthwise, place the socks on each side of the collar, so that the heel is in the middle and the top of the sock is outside the collar, and roll it all up without making a crease. Then roll each sock on the sausage you have just formed to have a neatly rolled kit, which takes up almost no space in your cabin baggage. You can place these kits in your shoes, they will then serve as shoe trees and will take up less space in your suitcase. And to avoid getting your clothes dirty with your shoes, place them in a shower cap (found in all hotels), or in a simple plastic bag. As for the toiletry bag, be careful if you are traveling by plane! All liquid products must be in a transparent pouch, and you must not carry bottles larger than 100 ml! Then collect your old small tubes or bottles to fill them with your new products. You can also buy transparent toiletry bags in perfumeries or department stores, ready to use. Also, keep an almost empty tube of toothpaste, less than 100 ml, for your plane trips. And I have other tips for the toiletry bag! Place a drawing clip on your razors to avoid possible cuts on other objects. Also group all your connection cables and attach the wires together using a drawing clip. The last step is to fold the suit jacket. Take it in both hands. Turn one shoulder inside and take the other shoulder to put it inside the first. Then fold in two. Close your suitcase and take off!
