Video in the cabin of the Pajares Ramp between the stations of Busdongo (León province limit) and Pola de Lena (Asturias). At the end of 2023, the Pajares Variant is scheduled to open, which would save trains 1 hour compared to the ramp. The idea that has been considered by politicians is to close the ramp, although it would be a complete shame considering the impressive engineering work that it entailed, all the workers who died in its construction and maintenance and all the passengers and goods that have passed through it as the only way to access Asturias.
