Friends, I have long wanted to show you some new design in cup holders and decided to stop at such a simple, but at the same time effective option ????♀️ NEW YEAR'S TOYS with epoxy resin Online course http://gentleart.site/new_year GYPSUM AND ACRYLIC from 0 to Pro http://gentleart.site/gips MAGIC RESIN from 0 to Pro http://gentleart.site/resin My telegram channel: https://t.me/gentleartonline My Instagram https://instagram.com/dariya_gentle.a... And this video will help you start monetizing your creativity, even if you are still shy and do not know how to sell your products yourself ❗️????♀️ https://boosty.to/gentleart/posts/fec... ???? In this video, I fill two cup holders with a diameter of 13 cm The resin is calculated using the formula: 13*13*0.5 = 84.5 (rounded up to 84 g) This is the amount of resin I will need for one cup holder. 0.5 in this formula is the thickness of the fill. Yours may be different. Then the amount of resin to mix is different. To get 84 grams of ready resin, I need to mix 56 grams of resin and 28 grams of hardener (my resin is mixed in a 2:1 ratio. Carefully study the ratio of YOUR resin!) For this technique, I divide my ready resin into two cups: I leave 64 grams transparent, and I pour 20 grams for white color. In 20 grams of resin, I need to add 2 drops of white dye (1 drop for every 10 grams) and a little white pearlescent pigment on the tip of a spatula. Pouring occurs in the following order: 1) pour an even white halo along the edge of the mold 2) pour transparent resin. We pour it closer to white, but do not promo on it. We keep the glass away from the surface of the mold so that the force of the resin stream “pushes” the white color to the edge 3) immediately after pouring, decorate the center with glitter and gold leaf (optional) 4) if we see dust particles, remove them with a spatula 5) go over the surface with a burner to expel bubbles My resin completely hardened after 12 hours, and I took the products out of the molds Next, you need to file the edge, apply a finish and cover the sides with gold leaf. I talked about this in detail in my videos: Processing • Mandatory processing of cup holders... Applying the finish • The perfect finishing layer on epoxy...
