On September 10, the #PolarisDawn mission was launched, within the framework of which the first spacewalk of space tourists may take place. The #CrewDragon ship was launched on the #SpaceX #Falcon9 rocket with four crew members on board. Approximately two minutes and 40 seconds after launch, the Falcon 9's main engines shut down and the first stage separated, landing on a floating platform in the Atlantic Ocean off the east coast of Florida. The Falcon 9's second stage continued to propel the Crew Dragon spacecraft, which separated from it approximately 12 minutes after liftoff. The crew capsule was placed into an elliptical orbit with a maximum altitude (apogee) of about 745 miles (1,200 km) and a minimum altitude (perigee) of 118 miles (190 km) above the Earth's surface. Crew Dragon is expected to rise even higher, to 1,400 km (875 mi) at its apogee.
