But what is called ghina' is a heart that always feels sufficient." (HR. Bukhari and Muslim) Everyone definitely wants a happy life. However, many people take the wrong and mistaken path. Some think that happiness is by having a luxury car, a Blackberry-class cellphone, having a real estate house, being able to go on tours abroad, and so on. They think that this is what is called a happy life. But is that really true? Read the following article. Happiness for Believers and Doing Good Deeds My brother ... People who believe and do good deeds, they are the ones who actually feel the sweetness of life and happiness because their hearts are always calm, unlike people who are negligent of Allah who always feel restless. Even though you may see their lives as very simple, even very lacking in wealth. But if you look far, you will know that they are the happiest people. Pay close attention to the following words of Allah Ta'ala. Allah Ta'ala says, مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا مِنْ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَى وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُ حَيَاةً طَيِّبَةً "Whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, is a believer, then surely We will give him a good life." (QS. An Nahl: 97). This is the reward for the believers in the world, namely that they will get a good life. And verily We will give them their reward in proportion to the best of what they did.” (QS. An Nahl: 97). While in this verse is the reward in the hereafter, namely the realm of barzakh. Likewise, Allah Ta'ala says, وَالَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا فِي اللَّهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا ظُلِمُوا ل َنُبَوِّئَنَّهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَلَأَجْرُ “And those who emigrate for the sake of Allah after they have been wronged, We will certainly give them a good abode in this world. And surely the reward of the Hereafter is greater, if they only knew.” (QS. An Nahl: 41) رَبَّكُمْ ثُمَّ تُوبُوا إِلَيْهِ يُمَ God willing ذِي فَضْلٍ فَضْلَهُ “And ask forgiveness from your Lord and repent to Him. (If you do this), surely He will give you good (continuous) enjoyment until the appointed time and He will give to each person who has his virtue (reward)." (QS. Huud: 3). These two verses explain the rewards in the afterlife for people who believe and do good deeds. Likewise, Allah Ta'ala says, قُلْ يَا عِبَادِ الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ لِلّ َذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا فِي هَذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٌ وَأَرْضُ God bless you َيْرِ حِسَابٍ "Say: "O My faithful servants, fear your Lord." People who do good in this world obtain goodness. And God's earth is vast. "Indeed, only those who are patient will have their reward filled without limit." (QS. Az Zumar: 10) These are four places in the Qur'an that explain the rewards for those who believe and do good deeds. There are two rewards that they will get, namely the reward in this world and the reward in the hereafter. Those are the two happinesses that they will get later.
