The live event features special guest Prof. Bernadete Gatti, who will provide an overview of the challenges of teacher training today and comment on how PIBID has contributed, in this context, to initial teacher training and to strengthening undergraduate degrees. Participants' CVs: Bernadete Angelina Gatti has a degree in Pedagogy from the University of São Paulo, a PhD in Psychology from the Universite de Paris VII - Universite Denis Diderot, and post-doctorates from the Université de Montréal and Pennsylvania State University. She is a retired professor from USP and a Senior Researcher at the Carlos Chagas Foundation, with extensive production in the areas of Teacher Training, Educational Assessment and Scientific Research Methodologies. Raoni Ribeiro Guedes Fonseca Costa has a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Rio Verde, a master's degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding from the Federal University of Lavras, a PhD in Agricultural Sciences from IF Goiano (Campus Rio Verde), and a post-doctorate in Animal Science from IF Goiano (Campus Rio Verde). He is a tenured professor at UEG, and is linked to the Postgraduate Program in Environment and Society. She is currently the Pro-Rector of Undergraduate Studies at the State University of Goiás, with experience in the areas of Science and Biology Education and Agricultural Microbiology. Wanessa Cristiane Gonçalves Fialho has a degree in Biology from the Triângulo University Center and a bachelor's degree in Industrial Biochemical Pharmacy from the Federal University of Ouro Preto. She is a specialist in Pharmacology (UFV) and in Psychopedagogy from the Catholic University of Uberlândia. She has a master's degree in Education from the Federal University of Uberlândia, a PhD in Education from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas, and a post-doctorate from PUC Campinas, in the Public Policies in Education Research Line. She works in the undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Science Education (PPEC) at the State University of Goiás (UEG). She has experience in the area of Education, working mainly on the following topics: initial and continuing teacher training, science and biology teaching.
