Useful tips for photographing a wild area of ​​impenetrable scrub and rock walls over a hundred meters high. After a long time I managed to take up the tripod and go out in search of photographs and emotions and, after a long time, I returned to this fantastic place full of suggestive corners to photograph capable of giving great emotions. I left on a day with many clouds in the hope of finding an ideal atmosphere to photograph strong contrasts, spots of light, clouds and blue sky, but these days are often complicated because the weather can change irremediably. But remember, even in difficult conditions there is always something to photograph and in case of inadequate light you photograph something else, so never go back. I have reached the top of the rocky walls that drop vertically for more than a hundred meters on vegetation that is nothing short of lush, extraordinarily compact made of tall trees that rise towards the sky, and above their foliage you can see the walls of red tuff... like in a jungle, like in the landscapes of Indiana Jones. Real canyons like the American ones but completely covered in vegetation. They are the gorges, deep furrows in the lands of volcanoes, in Tuscia, the land of the Etruscans. Photographically there are many shots to take, from the valleys to the bottom of the gorges, to the plateaus from which you can enjoy spectacular landscapes. ATTENTION We are in the Marturanum Barbarano Romano Region Suburban Park, Viterbo, Lazio. The area is truly impervious and hides dangers, so you really have to be careful, consult the maps and ask for information at the Park Office. The places are often inaccessible. In particular, avoid venturing onto the panoramic points of the plateaus, often you arrive on the edge without realizing it... so it is not advisable to venture if you are not experienced or if you are not accompanied by an environmentalist guide. From here, you descend into the valleys only by following the appropriate marked paths, there is no other solution.
