A former Peruvian congressional official suspected of setting up a prostitution ring inside the legislature, according to a journalistic report, denied the allegations on Thursday. The former head of the Legal and Constitutional Office of Congress, Jorge Torres, defended himself against the accusations before the parliamentary oversight committee, which opened an investigation into the scandal alongside the one initiated by the prosecutor's office. The administrative official insisted that he never arranged for the hiring of women to provide sexual services in exchange for votes. The scandal broke after the murder of lawyer Andrea Vidal, 28, former advisor and right-hand man of Torres until September, when she was dismissed. ★ Subscribe to our channel → https://bit.ly/365OTiS ★ Get the latest news from our website → https://tn.com.ar/ ★ And don't forget to follow us on social media!
