A heavy snowfall has fallen, trapping the entire village in snow, turning it into a snowy country in Buyeon-dong, Odaesan. The innocent lives of the villagers, including the brothers Ji Du-hwan and Ji Dong-hyeon, who attend Buyeon Branch School with only two students, a couple who have moved from Seoul for four years, and a 70-year-old grandmother who has lived here for 40 years, who live together with courage and share warm affection for one another, were captured on camera. When the snow piled up, the brothers Du-hwan and Dong-hyeon made a sledding hill and went sledding, and the children Hye-yoon (7) and Ji-seok (5) walk on the snow wearing snowshoes, and build an ice house and have fun inside it, and share grain with birds that have lost food due to the accumulated snow. In these people’s lives, which lean on nature and live in an eco-friendly way, we find infinite innocence and purity. The show also touches on the problems of remote areas, such as traffic paralyzed by heavy snow, Buyeon Branch School that may close down due to Du-hwan's graduation, poor medical facilities as seen through Du-hwan's cold, and the relatively small number of children compared to the number of elderly people.
