Guys, today's video is about the Memorial Necrópole Ecumênica Cemetery located in the city of Santos. Construction began in 1983 and was completed and inaugurated in 1991. The Memorial Necrópole Ecumênica is the tallest cemetery in the world according to the Guinness Book of Records. And today I want to show you the Mausoleum where Pelé's body is. Pelé's mausoleum is about 200 square meters and is on the first floor of the Memorial. Inside the room, there are shirts from the Brazilian National Team, Santos and Cosmos. A carpet was installed on the floor to resemble a soccer field and the walls are decorated with Santos fans. At the entrance to the mausoleum, there are two life-size statues of Pelé. They are at the door. Further ahead, there is a hallway where you can see photos of some of the star's career highlights. At the Memorial, there is still a Mercedes Benz S-280, given to Pelé by the automaker in 1974, in commemoration of the player's thousandth goal. The greatest player in the history of soccer, Edson Arantes do Nascimento died on December 29, 2022.
