In the Côtes du Rhône, winegrowers are coming together to flush out the counterfeiters who are flooding the Chinese market with fake French wines. Bernard and Baptiste, manufacturers of designer furniture, have engaged in a showdown with the major retailers and websites that copy their products. With more than 5.5 million counterfeits intercepted last year, French customs are on all fronts. In Nice, Marie-Catherine and her teams are working on a great deal.
