PDI-P DPP Chairman Said Abdullah responded to the issue of changing the position of the party's secretary general (sekjen) which emerged after the current secretary general, Hasto Kristiyanto, was named a suspect by the KPK. Said said that the decision regarding the change was the party's internal autonomy. Said said this at the DPR Building, Senayan, Jakarta, on Wednesday (8/1/2025). According to Said, the rules in PDI-P mandate that the decision regarding the change of the Secretary General position be submitted to the PDI-P General Chairperson, Megawati Soekarno Putri.
