What is atheism or disbelief in God and why is it said to be spreading in countries like Iran and Afghanistan? Contemporary philosopher John Schellenberg says that if there was a god, he would love atheists more because they use the powers given to them to scrutinize him and take the question about him seriously to the point of denying his existence. But atheism is not always the result of using powers that theists believe have divine origin. It is also the result of living conditions and political factors. A new survey has shown that the number of people who say they do not believe in God has tripled in the last ten years. In Iran and Afghanistan, the possibility of such polls is difficult, but new communication facilities have made atheists express their opinions more openly. But isn't atheism among disobedient young people mostly caused by running away from religion, especially official religion, and isn't what is called the spread of atheism a part of the process that has led to the diversity of forms of religiosity?
