Outdoor activities - Hardangervidda 2019 Fagerheim - Heinseter - Rauhelleren Then it's time for the 4th and last part of that trip on Hardangervidda! The weather and the car had prevented the trip here for a long time. Surely the weather did not present challenges on this trip either. This time the tour starts from a new location, Fagerheim. This is not very far from Dyranut, and is somewhat closer to Geilo. The trip goes from here to Heinseter and on towards Rauhelleren. The plan was then to go towards Stigstuv and then cross over the mountain towards Fagerheim again. The weather made this plan difficult. I park a bit on the upper side of Fagerheim. With Fagerheim in sight, the steep track goes inwards towards the left, in an almost southerly direction. The plan for the first leg is to go into the Heinseter area and find a tent pitch there. From there, the journey continues towards Rauhelleren and back again. It was a great trip again on Hardangervidda. The Hardangervidda is rough and tough and showed itself this time from a windy side. It's a powerful and wonderful place that always mostly takes a bite out of itself and presents challenges. This was no different on this trip either.
