Moray offers one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. At first glance it looks like a gigantic amphitheater. https://www.boletomachupicchu.com/com... Moray is located almost 50 kilometers from the city of Cusco. It is part of the tourist attractions of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It is famous for its impressive landscape, one of the most photographed by visitors. Its true function was that of an agricultural research center. It was a kind of agricultural laboratory where the Incas grew a wide variety of products. The tour through Moray follows a strict route that surrounds the circular terraces. A few years ago, visitors were allowed to enter them. However, to preserve this wonderful place, today it is not allowed. For a better enjoyment of the landscape, several viewpoints were implemented. Moray is one of the attractions of Cusco with the most appearances on social networks such as Facebook or Instagram. Most tourists visit Moray with a 1-day tour that also includes the famous Maras Salt Mines. However, it is also possible to go on your own. To do so, you must purchase the Cusco Tourist Ticket for 70 Peruvian soles (about 22 dollars on average). This ticket also includes a visit to Pisac, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero.
