The verse is in the key of Bm, it highlights the use of secondary dominants and a change of tone where for a moment it goes to F#m and then to Em. In the chorus a very frequent resource is used, the key is changed to the relative major, in this case D, here it makes a step to the key of Em and returns to the main key of Bm. Boleros usually have loaded harmonies, it is one of the characteristics of the style, the use of chords with seventh, secondary dominants, tone changes, among other resources make this style an excellent school to learn and see the application of harmony.
