Antiquarians Kuba Nedomý and the cyborg Dědek Čuchák are the biggest robot buffoons in the entire lunar habitat of Arcadia. However, no one has seen anything like Bejby during the entire colonization of the Moon. Each robot was created in a factory on a production line. But Bejby is different. It evolved, or perhaps was born from an artifact called the Golden Orange, and it was to him that Kuba and Dedek Čuchák came across - and under difficult circumstances, when the mood of the citizens of Arcadia turns against the robots. Fanatical activists organize hunts for them and destroy them on a large scale. However, Kuba and Dedek do not hesitate to stand on the right side. They help the persecuted robots with the considerable contribution of the Chinese warrior Su Wang-li and the fox police captain Luigi Mantella. However, something gets in their way: the mystery of Baby's origin.
