A compilation of various YouTube videos of former soldiers who were stationed in Hillersleben. There are no agreements between Russia and the EU regarding copyright, so I have a fairly clear conscience, especially since I absolutely wanted to secure this valuable material. The last remnants of the garrison will be demolished in autumn 2017, and thousands more solar modules will be installed in their place. The entire area was sold to this investor in 2013 for the symbolic price of 1000 euros. This marks the end of Hillersleben's history as one of the largest military bases, apart from Jüterbog and Wünsdorf.
