I started on day 1 at 9:30 a.m. at #Marienplatz. It was pleasantly warm with light drizzle, but it stopped during the morning and the sun came out by the time I reached my destination for the day, #KlosterSchäftlarn. So the beginning was done with stage 1 and now on day 2 I went from #KlosterSchäftlarn along the #Isar towards Geretsried. The highlight of the day was the climb up the #IckingerWehres. My personal recommendation for future #dreampath hikers is to definitely take mosquito spray with you. These little animals were sometimes a real nuisance. On day 3 I continued along the idyllic #Isar to #BadTölz. You could already catch a glimpse of the mountains, which I would finally reach on day 4 with the #Benediktenwand and the #TutzingerHütte. The 5th day was partly marked by rain showers, but when I arrived in #Vorderriß the sun came out again. On day 6 we went from #Vorderriß across the first border into Austria to the #Karwendelhaus. The sun came out again on time on day 7. It was to be a very long, hoarse day due to the bypass of the #Birkkarspitze but with fantastic views of the #Karwendel. On day 8 I was also woken up by the sun in the #Hallerangerhaus and it accompanied me over the #LafatscherJoch to my destination for the day in #Wattens. After a heavy rain shower I started on day 9 through the #LagerWalchen military area up to the #LizumerHütte. Day 10 offered beautiful mountain views, large snow fields to cross and eventually fog rising up to the #Tuxerjochhaus. It was not until day 11 that you could enjoy the beauty of the #TuxerAlps in sunshine. Today I went on another longer stage over the #AlpeinerScharte to the #SchlegeisStausee where I spent my first day off the next day. On day 12 it was time to go from the #Dominikushütte over the #PfitscherJoch to #SouthTyrol/Italy. On day 13 the sunshine continued from the #GasthofStein #Pfitsch to #Pfunders to the #Wieserhof. From there it was up to the #Kreuzwiesnalm on day 14. I spent an unusual night there and started the next day under cloudy skies for stage 15 past the #Peitlerkofel over the #Peitlerscharte to the #Gampenalm. On day 16 the route went with a mix of sunny clouds over the #Roascharte, the #Crespeinerscharte over the #Cirjoch to the #GrödenerJoch. On stage 17 I started at the #RifugioFrara #Gröden past the #Pisciadu hut and the #Sella group in the direction of #PizBoé to the #RifugioBoé. On day 18 I climbed the #PizBoè in bright sunshine, then descended to the #Pordoijoch and headed towards #Marmolada to the #RifugioVielDalPan. On stage 19 I went down to #LagoDiFedaia to #Alleghe where I had my second day off. On day 20 I started from #Alleghe via #Masarè up to the #RifugioTissi. From there on day 21 I continued along the #MonteCivetta to the #RifugioCarestiato. On stage 22 I ran past the #ForteDiForcellaMoschesin to the #RifugioBianchet. From there on day 23 I went around the #MonteSchiara to the #Rifugio7°Alpini. On day 24 it was time to descend towards the valley to #Belluno. On day 25 the last mountain stage was on the agenda. It went up to the #RifugioColVisentin. From day 26 I went into the flatlands to #Arfanta, then on day 27 to #PonteDellaPriula. On day 28 along the #Piave to #SanBartolomeo. On day 29 I headed towards the sea to #LidoDiJesolo where I enjoyed my third day off.
