On October 25, 2023, over 180 students of the first uniformed classes of the 14th Zbigniew Herbert High School in Lublin took an oath on the school banner during an oath ceremony with military ceremony. The event was organized in the courtyard of the National Museum in Lublin. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, local and self-government authorities, the Central Military Recruitment Center, the 2nd Lublin Territorial Defense Brigade, the 19th Mechanized Brigade, the Multinational LITPOLUKRBRIG Brigade, the Fiscal Administration Chamber in Lublin, uniformed services, military universities and non-governmental organizations, witnesses of history - Captain Marianna Krasnodębska and Mr. Jerzy Jeżewicz, as well as numerous families of the students taking the oath and the school community of the 14th High School. The 14th General Secondary School in Lublin is the largest uniformed school in the region and one of the most numerous schools of this type in the country. We run Military Preparation Departments under the patronage of the Ministry of National Defense, military classes, customs and treasury service and border service. In the current school year, nearly 600 students are studying in twenty classes.
