In illegal detention, where he spent 565 days, lawyer Martin Ribár wrote diaries. According to them, a story has now been created in which the characters of investigators, special prosecutors and mafia figures appear. "I feel neither anger, nor hatred, nor desire for revenge. The bad things that happened in my life and in my family's life will not be left behind. Unless something bad has already happened, let it make some sense. Therefore, after my release from custody, I began to speak about suspicions of manipulation of criminal proceedings. he started talking about everything," Martin Ribár explains the reason why he decided to publish his life story in the form of a novel. The book was created in collaboration with the writer Petr Adamecký - "During the entire period of detention, I wrote a diary, every day. I have a problem opening the diaries myself. I dig into them only when I need to extract some data from them. Mr. Adamecký was the only person to whom I lent the diaries. He saw things that I wouldn't want to show even to my closest friends," says Ribár, who appears in the novel under the name Martin Fisher. He adds that the book is a fictional story written based on real events: "Some things happened almost exactly as they are described, some are purely fictional, others are inspired by what really happened." The same applies to the characters that appear in the story. Lawyer Martin Ribár talked about the reality that was the model for the novel, about the methods of investigators and prosecutors, about the distortion of justice, but also about the upcoming book about the so-called Čurillos and why he has trouble wearing a white shirt in the show NOW THIS WAY with Anka Žitna.
