Article 9: Not to go to their courts (to demand a judgement), not to agree with their judgement or some of their judgements, to abandon following their desires, to abandon following them in any of their affairs. Because following them means abandoning the judgement of Allah and the judgement of His Prophet. Article 10: Not to obey the disbelievers and polytheists in what they command or indicate. Not to judge the taghut What is taghut? The most general definition of taghut is everything that is worshiped besides Allah. If you find the word taghut on anything on which the word taghut has been used in Allah’s (swt) Book and the Sunnah or in any verse in which Allah’s (swt) attributes are mentioned, on any institution, any name, any stone on which He has mentioned His attributes, we call it taghut. In other words, taghut does not necessarily have to be a person, a grave, or a law or a parliament. Taghut is that which every nation worships besides Allah. Have you not seen those who think that they believe in what was sent down to you (the Quran) and those sent down before you? They want to be judges by the taghut, although they have been commanded to disbelieve. Satan wants to lead them astray with a distant path (from which return to the truth is difficult). (4/Nisa’, 60) They leave the law of Allah (swt) aside; Those who apply to an authority that does not solve problems according to human laws, customs and traditions, traditions and local beliefs, in short, the Islamic Sharia, even if they say they believe, their faith is not real but only an assumption. All institutions that people judge other than Allah and His Messenger are taghut. It does not matter whether it is a person, person, institution or the like that is accepted as the authority to make a decision in disputes between people other than Allah and His Messenger, all of these are taghut. In the 60th verse of Surah An-Nisa, a group of people judged another authority other than Allah (swt) and His Messenger. Most importantly, these people consider themselves to be people of faith. Allah (swt) considers their faith to be an assumption and ignores their faith. Have you not seen those who think they believe in you and in what was revealed before you? That is, there is no faith, but they think they believe. Surah an-Nisa verse 60; 1. It requires being free from the unbelievers, not being a judge against them, and being a judge only to Allah and His Messenger. 2. A person who judges them has made his faith in the sight of Allah mere conjecture, and although that person calls himself a person of faith, that person is not a person of faith in the sight of Allah. The reason for the revelation of verse 60 of Surah an-Nisa The reason for the revelation of this verse is that, although narrations differ, a hypocrite and a Jew had a dispute between them and they had to come to the Messenger of Allah, but in the Islamic State of Medina, that hypocrite wanted to be a judge to someone else if he came to the Messenger of Allah because he knew he was wrong and the Messenger of Allah knew that he ruled and would rule with justice. In other words, he said, let's take this issue to someone else as a referee. In the narrations it says, let's go to Kab ibn Ashraf, that is, the taghut of the Jews, or to a soothsayer (i.e. one of the soothsayers who went to the era of ignorance of the Arabs and were judged by them). Although the wording changes, the common point of the narration is that in a dispute between two people, they go not to Allah and His Messenger, but to any person or any institution other than Allah and His Messenger, that is, to any institution that does not judge with the judgment of Allah and His Messenger. This is blasphemy, as it is clearly understood in the verse.
