Dear viewers, after a long "thumb break" it's finally time again: it's time for a new DELUXE tool. We've all known it since school: the compass. It's still an important helper for us DIYers in particular when it comes to constructing and marking out. We're building a DELUXE version of this trusty construction helper step by step out of plum wood, rosewood veneer and a few brass parts. The elegant mix of materials is not only a feast for the eyes, but also very functional. A mini collet allows you to use a pencil or scriber, the left leg is height-adjustable and - if you want to store the compass in a small case - both legs can be easily dismantled. For all DIY enthusiasts who want to practice precise work, building this DELUXE tool is good practice.
